STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl rarely holds your hand in the game, as it immediately sends you off to the fray without much of a tutorial. While it does tell you some of the basics, it doesn’t tell you how to open up your flashlight. You’ll immediately see an objective tracker telling you where to go, but everything is almost pitch black. Adjusting the brightness doesn’t do anything, as it really is part of the game. Once you start playing the game, you’ll go through a slight tutorial while being introduced to STALKER 2’s story. You’ll learn how to switch weapons, aim, shoot, crouch, destroy locks, and more. These all come as you go through the story and into the dark tunnels. However, it never teaches the player to turn the flashlight on. Everything will turn almost pitch black soon since it is a dark tunnel. You’ll really need a source of light.
