Devs want players to pay $70+ for their pre-release games! Oh, and at the same time, they want us to assist them in debugging their code and in some cases fixing bugs for them! I think the greed has gone to their heads and their wallets!
There appears to be no end to the price hikes in games. Two of the biggest releases of the year want us to pay extra to play them early – but is that even ethical? A pre-premiere, an early premiere, and a proper premiere are all ways to swindle us out of our free time.
