What are Stronghold Bugs in Diablo 4?
In Diablo 4, there are some bugs related to strongholds:
- The map does not display their icons.
- It is impossible to defeat all enemies in strongholds since they reset themselves and are overflowing with monsters.
- Completing strongholds is not counted among completed tasks.
- The stronghold of Alcarnus seems to be plagued with problems quite often.
Additionally, there are other bugs, but they are less common and mostly confined to certain locations.

How to fix stronghold bugs in Diablo 4
First, if the terrain is full of enemies, even if you killed them, it may not be a bug. After completing a stronghold, you have to ring a bell at Wonderer’s Shrine. If you team up with other players, they must do it as well.

There are sometimes glitches (for example, falsely uncompleted strongholds) where relogging is all that is needed. Try to do this within the terrain of the stronghold. Of course, you may have to clear the area again.
The game can also be glitchy when you’re playing with friends. Some players have reported experiencing problems with strongholds after they completed them with their friends.
In the meantime, we must wait for the patch to find out what other methods are available to deal with stronghold problems.
