Exile is a single player action-adventure video game, Exile was originally released in 1988 for the BBC Micro and Acorn Electron by Superior Software. It was later ported to the Commodore 64, Amiga, CD32, and Atari ST by Audiogenic.
Exile (II) is a cool remake of the original Exile for Commodore 64, Amiga, BBC Micro and Acorn Electron. What I like about this game is that it is one of the first video games that incorporated a physics engine and featured realistic gravity, inertia and object mass! As Mike Finn, the hero in the game, you learned how to master these skills in order to win the game – this was back in 1988 no less! – Donnie, Editor, GFB

More about the Original Game Exile
Peter Irvin (creator of Starship Command) and Jeremy Smith (creator of Thrust) designed and programmed the game. It is often cited as one of the earliest examples of a Metroidvania game and featured realistic gravity, inertia and object mass years before players understood the concept of a physics engine… An astounding level of AI, stealth-based gameplay, a logical ecosystem governing the creatures of the world, and teleportation that feels startlingly similar to Portal.
Exile: Game Storyline
As part of a rescue mission to the planet Phoebus, you play Mike Finn, a leading member of the Columbus Force. Commander David Sprake and the remaining crew of the disabled Pericles ship need Finn’s help to avoid a psychotic renegade genetic engineer, named Triax.
