The world laid out before you in Lies of P is gorgeous, filled to the brim with environmental details that would make Hidetaka Miyazaki himself smile. While the world has taken more than a little inspiration from the lands of Bloodborne, not only in its combat but its general feeling of doom-and-gloom, are we treated to an open-world wonderland more akin to Elden Ring, or a sprawling world like the glum streets that we have explored before?
Is Lies of P Linear or Open World?
For those of you hoping to explore the world laid out before you at your own pace, you may be disappointed to find out that Lies of P is a more straightforward adventure compared to games like Elden Ring, feeling more like a spiritual successor to Bloodborne in more ways than one. While the path you follow is fairly linear, there is still plenty of room to explore, but you cannot leave the boundaries that are placed before you.
