The Shard of Agony is one of the items you need to get before summoning Duriel as an endgame boss in Diablo 4. It isn’t the most challenging task in the game, but it will take a few hundred Aberrant Cinders and some good timing in the Helltide.
Where to Get a Shard of Agony in Diablo 4
To get a Shard of Agony, you need to bring five Living Steel to the Hall of the Penitent Lair and then defeat Grigoire, the Galvanic Saint on World Tier 4. Any time you defeat him in his boss lair after offering the five Living Steel, there is a chance that a Shard of Agony will drop. Don’t be discouraged if it doesn’t drop the first time though.
