Project Horizon is a sci-fi shooter game for Commodore AMIGA which involves the player taking on the role of an astronaut who finds themselves in a war situation on the moon (in 1977 – another alternate timeline) in a game that is an eight-way scrolling sci-fi shooter.

Project Horizon is unique in its graphic styling and implementation as a top-down shooter. It also comes with a map editor so you can design your own game levels! It is certainly a one-of- kind find for the Commodore Amiga and it makes my list! – Donnie, GFB
Project Horizon: More Details
- In the download section is a bug-fixed DEMO version of the game. Please let me know if you find any bugs in the game! 🙂
- Music is included in the HDD version.
- With the Map-Editor (not included in the demo), you can create new maps for the game.
- ABK (graphics or sound bank) is used in AMOS. By combining AMOS with ABK, you can create and add new graphics to the game.
- In essence, the engine doesn’t require a 2 Mb chip ram (nor a HDD), so if you create a new game (depending on the amount of graphics and effects you use), it can run from a floppy, too.
- There will be no charge for the final version, which includes all the source code, tools, and editor.
