The best way to beat Lily and Lyleen
This boss battle is best fought at Level 25. Your Pals should be powerful at this level to handle this fight and your Technology tree should be upgraded so you can craft new and better equipment. Increase your level to Level 29 if you’re ever having trouble with this boss. By doing this, you should gain a general boost in stats, making this fight easier, and unlocking upgraded equipment like the Giga Shield and Handgun through key Technology breakpoints.

The best way to get XP at this level is to defeat Alpha Pals either in Dungeons or outside in the overworld. Catching 10 of every Pal species available to you is a great way to gain experience, since your first 10 pals will be worth a lot of EXP.
Use metal armor whenever possible
The Free Pal Alliance Tower is located atop a snowy mountain, so you might be wearing weaker Cold Resistant Pelt Armor. Remember to switch your armor to better Metal Armor or else you’ll take more damage. As soon as you reach Level 27, you’ll be able to use the Cold Resistant Metal Armor, which has a slightly higher defense, and you can also ignore having to swap your armor.
Make use of a makeshift gun
It is extremely difficult to fight Lyleen at melee range due to her tendency to dodge and jump away from her target. Because of this, you should consider using the Makeshift Handgun at Level 25, which is an extremely useful weapon for this fight.
Despite having a high 320 Attack stat, the main drawback of the Makeshift Handgun is its requirement for coarse ammunition. While Ingots are easy to get, Gunpowder is not so readily available at this point in the game due to Sulphur’s rarity.
Keep your Distance and Stay Behind Pillars
The pillars in the arena are easily able to intercept Lyleen’s ranged attacks, which she prefers to use. You should stay close to them so that you can dodge and put a pillar between you and one of Lyleen’s attacks. You should watch out for Lyleen’s Whirlwind Attack, as it can pass through terrain and hit you from behind a pillar.

Use a Pal with Fire-Type Attacks
It is weak to Fire-type attacks because Lyleen is a Grass Element Pal. Try using Pals who know moves such as Spirit Fire or Flare Arrow to quickly destroy Lily and her Lyleen. As well as resisting Grass attacks from Lyleen, Fire-type Pals can easily tank hits and give you the opportunity to fire away at Lyleen while she’s distracted trying to wear down your Pal.

Lily’s Lyleen Has Water-type Attacks
In spite of Lily’s Lyleen’s Water-type attacks, a Fire-type Pal may seem like the obvious choice, but if your Pal consistently gets knocked out, consider switching to another Pal that can resist Water or take neutral hits from her attacks. The alternative is to recall your Pal back into its Sphere, but you’re Lyleen’s only target, so recalling your Pal can be risky.
Try to Find a Pal With the Pyromaniac Passive
You can deal more damage to Lyleen and possibly be the difference-maker during this 10-minute time limit with Pyromaniac’s 10% increase in damage dealt by Fire-type attacks. You can boost the damage dealt by elemental moves with partner skills from certain pals. For this fight, you can get two that boost Fire-Type attacks!
Teach Your Pals Fire Moves With Skill Fruit
The Dark Skill Fruit can be found randomly in Skill Fruit Trees found throughout the overworld, and it will teach any Pal the Fire Element attack.
