Some things once broken in Helldivers 2 have now been fixed, but armor isn’t one of them. We don’t know the full consequences of this bug (no, not that kind), but I do have some friendly advice for when it gets fixed.
Helldivers 2’s Armor Rating Isn’t Working As Intended
What does this mean? Well, literally, armor values represented by stats aren’t applied properly in-game. This means Heavy armor is providing the same resistance as Medium armor. And it might even mean that Light armor is tanking shots it shouldn’t be able to. The commonly-prevailing theory is that all armor has the default value of 100, even Light armor. Until this gets fixed (hopefully sooner than later), here’s what you’ll want to keep in mind.
