The latest from Larian Studios is no longer in Early Access, and it’s blowing up on Steam. It’s not only the platform’s top-selling game, it’s also one of its most played ones.
A massive 472,136 players were playing Baldur’s Gate 3 simultaneously on Steam, a figure expected to grow over the weekend, given how often the game has broken its launch numbers. If you don’t count Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Dota 2 – two games that always occupy the top two slots – this makes it the most played game on Steam.

It’s higher than All Larian Studios’ Divinity: Original Sin players put together, and above Divinity: Original Sin 2’s 93,701 peak concurrent users – which seems quite meager in comparison.
