In Persona 3 Reload, characteristics are passive abilities unique to each party member that will enhance their performance in battle. These Characteristics will grow stronger the more you spend time with your party members at the dorm.

How to Get Characteristics
To acquire Characteristics, you must spend time with your teammates by doing dorm activities with them. Each party member will prefer two activities to engage in, and doing these activities with them 3 times will unlock and evolve their Characteristics.
Protagonist’s Characteristics Are Unlocked Via Compendium Completion
To unlock the Protagonists’s Characteristics, you have to progress your Persona Compendium completion rate to unlock your characteristics. To unlock each Characteristic, you’ll have to reach 30% to get Weakness Boost and 60% to get Weakness Amp.
