How to access EA FC24 closed beta
Only a select number of people will have access to the closed beta of EA SPORTS FC24, and EA will select players through the Community Playtesting program.
In order to receive an invitation to the closed beta for EA FC 24, you must meet the following conditions:
- Signed up for Community Playtesting on the EA website (more on that below)
- Are at least 18 years old
- Have a console from the UK or North America
- Use a PlayStation or Xbox console
- Played FIFA 23 regularly
- Have an internet connection
- Accepted the User and FC 24 Beta Agreement
- Have an active PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription
How to sign up for EA playtesting
In addition to checking off many of these boxes, many players are unaware of community playtesting. Players can increase their chances of being chosen by updating their contact information.
The process of signing up is very simple. Here’s what you need to do:
- Head over to the EA website.
- Click on the Avatar in the top right corner.
- Click on account settings.
- Select ‘Email Preferences’.
- Make sure FIFA titles are selected in the preferred game section.
- Then select the ‘Electronic Arts Playtesting’ tab.
- Click ‘Join EA playtesting’.
- Make sure you’re signed in to your EA account and fill out the form provided, as well as your preferences.
When is the EA FC24 beta?
A beta test of EA Sports FC 24 began on August 10 at 10 AM PDT and will run until August 31 at 10 AM PDT. In the week of August 9, EA Sports FC 24 closed beta codes began to be sent out to players. These codes will be sent to their EA account e-mail address.
Those who signed up for Community Playtesting, as well as those who meet the aforementioned requirements, are likely to receive a code, though not everyone will receive beta access right away. Moreover, not all game modes will be available to all players in FC 24. The game modes that each player will have access to will vary.
Can you transfer EA SPORTS FC 24 beta codes?
In the case of this year’s FIFA, chances are you won’t be able to transfer beta codes to others if the previous version is any indication. The restrictions are in place as selected players are the only ones who are allowed to access the beta. If you receive access but are not able to redeem it for whatever reason, you cannot grant access to a friend in your place.
