If you’re enjoying Jujutsu Kaisen’s second season, you might be interested in Iso, the newest agent joining Valorant.
As my anime-riddled brain is currently incapable of thinking about much else besides Jujutsu Kaisen, I immediately made a connection with Valorant’s newest character when I saw it. The trailer for Iso earlier this week dived into a bit of his backstory. It appears that he is an assassin who has killed entire groups of people with just one bullet, or at least that is what the trailer claims. His ultimate ability, however, makes him unique.
As a result, Jujutsu Kaisen vibes come into play, as when you shoot a column of energy, it drags in your opponent, then transports you into an enclosed arena, where you will fight to the death. For those who haven’t seen Jujutsu Kaisen, there are special abilities called domains which enclose your enemy in a separate space; essentially last ditch efforts that all but guarantee a victory, which makes it easy for comparisons to be drawn.
