Iron Dice and Silent Book are Monad Passage bosses in Persona 3 Reload. Read on to learn how to beat these two bosses, know their location, weaknesses and resistances, as well as the recommended party setup for defeating them.
Use Sylphid Aura Before Battle
Sylphid Aura is Fuuka’s navigational skill that buffs your party. Make sure to use it before engaging with this boss, as Silent Book can get Iron Dice’s damage out of control with its constant buffs.
Hit Both Bosses with Their Weaknesses
Iron Dice is weak to Ice, while Silent Book is weak to Wind. This will be a relatively easier fight. Hit both these weaknesses to trigger All-Out Attacks until they perish. We recommend bringing in Mitsuru and Yukari for this battle. However, if you have access to Personas that can cast Garula and Bufula, you can bring any party member you wish.
Cast Debuffs on Iron Dice
Iron Dice is the damage dealer in this boss fight, while Silent Book provides buffs to its ally. Use debuffs like Tarunda, Rakunda, and Sukunda on Iron Dice to negate Silent Book’s buff on it. Debuffing is necessary, since Iron Dice casts very powerful Strike skills.
Use Numbers to Predict Its Moves
Iron Dice shows a die number that corresponds to its next attack. Keep an eye on the number it shows to anticipate whatever it will cast next.
Be Ready to Cure Distress
Iron Dice casts Eerie Sound, which may inflict Distress on your whole party. This is easily cured with a Me Patra skill, which Yukari learns. You can also alternatively use Me Patra Gems or Patra Gems
Use Therugy Skills for Massive Damage
Iron Dice is a bit high in defense, so keep on using your Theurgy skills to get its HP down for a quick fight.
