You can catch a crab most easily in Frosted Heights by casting your line towards blue spots. In the water, look for blue, bubbling circles if you’re specifically looking for a crab. White circles typically spawn salmon and bass, while orange ones hold White Sturgeon.
It is also possible to catch them with Moana’s Fishing Boat. With the boat, you are not guaranteed to find a crab, but if you level it and check it occasionally, you will have a better chance of finding one. You are most likely to find a crab if you have a high- or even max-level boat.
