In Palworld, you can change the name of your pals but not your character. Learn how to change pal names and if there are plans to allow character name change.
How to Change Player and Pal Names in Palworld
You can only change your character’s name during character creation. Once you start the game, you will no longer be able to edit your character’s name or any other detail about your character.
In the character creation screen, Pocketpair noted that they have plans to implement a way to re-edit details about your character.
Edit Pal Names in View Details Screen
Unlike your character, you can always edit the names of your pals. By selecting a pal, whether in your party or Palbox, you’ll find an Edit button on the top left next to their current name. You can use up to 24 characters when naming your pals and use special characters as well.
