I’m a solo developer that used unity for the majority. I ended up switching to Godot completely, but Godot has its problems and issues as well, a few controversies happening a few months ago ( the forum getting shut down, the community being a bit cult-ish, over 9000 open bug issues not getting fixed, important feature proposals being ignored, the engine itself having a few quirks to work around with, the 3D physics being bad )
I am not trying to switch to another engine again, defold, but I do want to make a few games with defold just out of curiosity what it can do and if it suits me, so, I have a few questions about the defold engine:
How fast is the bug fixing? How fast are updates being released? How well is the documentation of the scripting language? How bug-free / stable is the engine and the workflow with it itself? Is the scripting language easy or complicated? How many keywords does the scripting language have?
