Developed and published by Sega in 1989, Revenge of Shinobi, also known as The Super Shinobi, is an action video game with hack-and-slash elements. As the first Shinobi game to be developed for the Sega Genesis, this game was also available on the Mega-Tech coin-operated version.

Having been reduced to rubble by Joe Musashi, the crime syndicate “Zeed” has returned as “Neo Zeed” in vengeful retaliation.
