Unreal v4.27 | A Skeletal Mesh can be animated using an Animation Sequence, which is a single animation asset. Skeletal Mesh bones can be animated smoothly by playing back the keyframes in sequence, with blending between them. Each keyframe specifies the bone’s position, rotation, and scale at a specific point in time.

It is important to note that every Animation Sequence asset targets a specific Skeleton, so if you want to share animations among Skeletal Meshes, each mesh must utilize the same Skeleton asset.
