Affinities in Elden Ring allows you to replace Weapon Skills of your equipment with new ones that are based on Ashes of War. There are a number of weapons and shields that can be modified with them. What are the Default Affinities in Elden Ring?
Standard Affinity

Quality Affinity

Keen Affinity
The scaling of Dexterity is greatly increased at the expense of Strength scaling, while the scaling of base damage is reduced as well.
Heavy Affinity
In this case, the weapon’s Strength scaling will be increased at the expense of its base damage and its Dexterity scaling will be worsened.
Magic Affinity
You can do this by increasing your weapon’s magic damage, which scales with Intelligence, but at the expense of lowering the overall base damage and scaling of the weapon as a whole.
Fire Affinity
Your weapon receives fire damage as a result of the attack. You will see a reduction in the base damage and dexterity scaling of your weapon, but a slight increase in its strength scaling.
Flame Art Affinity
You have added fire to your weapon. It has a higher base damage compared to Fire, but has a worse scaling for strength and dexterity. This is compensated for by a low Faith scaling.
Cold Affinity
Adds frost damage to your weapon as well as magic damage to your weapon. As a result, your weapon’s intelligence scaling will be increased, but its strength and dexterity scaling will be reduced.
Lightning Affinity
Lightning will damage your weapon and cause it to malfunction. In addition to reducing your weapon’s base damage and other scaling, it also increases its dexterity scaling.
Sacred Affinity
As a result, the weapon gains holy damage and scales with faith, however, the base damage and overall scaling of the weapon are lowered as a result.
Blood Affinity
Your weapon will bleed and scale with Arcane, but the base damage and overall scaling will be lower as a result.
Poison Affinity

Occult Affinity

Unlockable Affinity with Whetblades in Elden Ring
