When first creating your character in Dragon’s Dogma 2, be it in the full game or its free Character Creation demo, you’ll eventually come across the Moniker. This option appears when finalizing your character, demanding you to pick a name different from what you’ve already chosen previously.
What Does the Moniker Option Do in Dragon’s Dogma 2?
A Moniker is simply a nickname given to a person, and it works similarly in Dragon’s Dogma 2. While your Arisen character and your Pawn can have unique, exclusive names given by yourself, they will also have a Moniker attributed to them which will be picked from a pre-existing list. Both names can be displayed when adventuring through the campaign.
